Bible Studies and Prayer

  • We have regular Bible Studies and Prayer in House Groups every Wednesday evening at 7.30 p.m. and on Thursdays at 9.45 a.m.

Knit & Natter

  • We meet every 3rd Wednesday of the month to have a cuppa and a natter whilst working together to fill shoe boxes with gifts which are then sent out to needy children overseas. Last year we managed to produce completed boxes filled with all sorts of goodies including hand-knitted gifts. This year we are hard at work again to fill lots of boxes – come along and join in the fun.

  • The Knit & Natters’ projects
At present we have three ongoing projects as we have so many ladies producing blanket squares and clothes!First, we continue to fill shoe boxes for our friends in Romania.

  1. Last month we started knitting adult sized hats and scarves for the Dairy house homeless project at Stratton on the Fosse, run by Suz Addicott.

  2. This scheme is part of the Wells churches homeless project. A sack of hats and scarves were taken to the Dairy House and the residents were so thrilled to receive them!

  3. This month we have responded to an appeal by Musgrove hospital for colourful blankets for dementia patients. We were pleased that many of our knitting group attended last week’s ladies lunch and heard a wonderful testimony from Linda Monroe of Welton. Thank you ladies!
